Transforming Our World Through Better Parenting
Edward V. Haas MD, Founder
A non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, the Institute for Transformative Parenting was founded in 2015 to educate about child development and behavior and promote best practices in parenting and child care.
By encouraging deeper levels of communication, understanding, and respect between parents and children, we show parents how to recognize their child's needs and desires, and how to encourage their happiness and healthy development.
Curiosity, empathy, and self-confidence are developed in children, while adults simultaneously develop greater awareness, empowerment, and compassion.
Transformative Parenting® is an approach founded on psychological principles, which promotes positive communication and secure attachment between parent and child, while helping parents toward a path of self-discovery and empowerment. Although it shares some similarities with Maria Montessori’s work, Transformative Parenting® focuses on the newborn and toddler years, is based on its own theoretical framework, and adds the dimension of parenting as a spiritual path.
By promoting the theory and practice of Transformative Parenting®, the Institute seeks to change the experience of childhood and parenting for millions of people, and transform the world into a happier, more diverse, and more fulfilling place for all of us!
We promote Transformative Parenting® through lectures and parenting workshops for parents and educators. We are happy to talk about Transformative Parenting® on radio, TV, or just about anywhere! You can learn more by visiting our blog, at: www.TransformativeParent.com , or contacting us at: email@example.com.
